Charles Tristan, Marquis de Montholon, Graf von Lee (* 21. Juli 1783 in Paris; † 24. August 1853 in Paris), war Generaladjutant des Kaisers Napoleon I.
Charles Tristan, Marquis de Montholon (21 July 1783 – 21 August 1853) was a French general during the Napoleonic Wars. He chose to go into exile on Saint Helena with the ex-emperor after Napoleon 's second abdication.

After Napoleon’s defeat at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, Charles de Montholon inserted himself in Napoleon’s retinue. He became one of the few officers allowed to accompany the Emperor to St. Helena. Albine and Tristan went with him.

Biography. Officer; entered the army in 1798, served Napoleon (q.v.); created Count of Montholon in 1809; followed Napoleon at St Helena (1815) and was at the ex emperor's side when the latter died (1821), bequeathing him 2 million francs.
