Sir Richard Nugent O’Connor KT, GCB, GBE, DSO, MC (* 21. August 1889 in Srinagar; † 17. Juni 1981 in London) war ein General der British Army, der zu Beginn des Zweiten Weltkriegs der Oberbefehlshaber der Western Desert Force (Streitmacht der Westlichen Wüste) in Nordafrika war.
General Sir Richard Nugent O'Connor, KT, GCB, DSO & Bar, MC (21 August 1889 – 17 June 1981) was a senior British Army officer who fought in both the First and Second World Wars, and commanded the Western Desert Force in the early years of the Second World War.
Richard O’Connor wurde in London geboren, ist aber anguillischer Herkunft. In der Jugend spielte er von 1997 bis 2000 beim lokalen Verein FC Wimbledon. Im Jahr 2000 wechselte er zum FC Leatherhead, wo er nur ein Jahr später den Verein verließ. Zwischen 2005 und 2006 spielte er wieder dort.
