Paul Magnette (French pronunciation: [pɔl maɲɛt]; born 28 June 1971) is a Belgian politician. Since 2019, he is the leader of the Socialist Party, social democratic French-speaking party in Belgium. Since 2012, he is also mayor of Charleroi.
Paul Magnette (/ p ɔ l m a ɲ ɛ t /) est un universitaire et un homme politique belge francophone membre du Parti socialiste, né le 28 juin 1971 à Louvain. Professeur de sciences politiques à partir de 1999, il rejoint le corps enseignant de l' université libre de Bruxelles en 2001.
