Warren Weaver (born July 17, 1894, Reedsburg, Wisconsin, U.S.—died November 24, 1978) was an American mathematician. He studied at the University of Wisconsin, taught there (1920–32), and directed the Rockefeller Foundation’s Natural Science Division (1932–55).
