A Canadian sitcom set in the fictional Wessex, Ontario, Dan for Mayor follows slacker bartender Dan Phillips ( Fred Ewanuick of Corner Gas fame) who, on a whim, announces his intention to run for mayor when his ex-girlfriend announces her engagement.
