An hour-long feature, A Tale Of Two Toads, was broadcast in 1988, and a fifth season of 13 episodes was shown in 1989 under the title Oh! Mr Toad in some countries, whilst retaining the title The Wind in the Willows in others.

It ran for five seasons, with the final season airing in 1990 under the title Oh, Mr. Toad, with a different theme song. In some countries, the original title is retained in the fifth season, and all seasons were packaged together as The Wind in the Willows on DVD.
Oh! Mr Toad! Broadcast 29th December 1989 © Thames Television. Cosgrove Hall’s stop-motion version of The Wind in the Willows began in 1983 with a feature length pilot episode which won a BAFTA and an international Emmy, 5 series followed between 1984 and 1990.
