Oil Strike North – filmed in Peterhead, Scotland – did not concern itself with boardroom battles and internal power struggles but focused on the claustrophobic atmosphere and the hardships endured on oil rigs and the impact this particular line of work had on the families of the rig workers.
With the three-month deadline imminent, Triumph is running behind in the search for oil and gas. With the government threatening to go to President Oil, Frank Ward's past comes back to haunt him.
