Lev Nikolayevich Kekushev (Russian: Лев Николаевич Кекушев) was a Russian architect, notable for his Art Nouveau buildings in Moscow, built in the 1890s and early 1900s in the original, Franco-Belgian variety of this style.
Mindovsky House is an example of Art Nouveau architecture, designed by Lev Kekushev and built by the Moscow Trading-and-Construction Joint Stock Company in 1903. It is located at 44 Povarskaya Street (Russian: Поварская ул., 44) in the Arbat district of Moscow.
One of first Art Nouveau buildings in Moscow was the List House (1898–99) by Lev Kekushev. Kekushev was acquainted with Victor Horta , the initiator of Art Nouveau movement, and the house shows the natural curving forms, open interiors and floral designs of Horta.
