William Jack Baumol (February 26, 1922 – May 4, 2017) was an American economist. He was a professor of economics at New York University, Academic Director of the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Professor Emeritus at Princeton University.
Will Baumol was a renowned economist and entrepreneurship scholar who taught at Princeton and NYU. He made significant contributions to various fields of economics, such as productivity, competition, environmental policy, and the arts.
