John Stewart Williamson (April 29, 1908 – November 10, 2006), who wrote as Jack Williamson, was an American science fiction writer, one of several called the "Dean of Science Fiction". [2] He is also credited with one of the first uses of the term genetic engineering. [3]
Jack Williamson (1908-2006) was a US author of sf stories and novels, influenced by A Merritt and Miles J Breuer. He wrote the Legion of Space series, The Legion of Time, and many other works, and won a Hugo for his autobiography.
