Nachdem Havoc 2003 schon für 50 Cent und dessen G-Unit produziert hatte, verhandelte Mobb Deep mit dem Label G-Unit Records und unterschrieb dort Mitte 2005 einen Vertrag. Das dort 2006 erschienene Album Blood Money enthielt viele Gastauftritte von Künstlern des Labels.

Fellow Queens-bred rapper 50 Cent had a personal connection to Mobb Deep, and Havoc provided production on tracks by G-Unit, Lloyd Banks, The Game, and Tony Yayo. Mobb Deep released their seventh album, Blood Money in 2006.
