Deansgrange Cemetery is located in Deansgrange on the R827. The Christian cemetery was opened in 1865 and it is one of Dublin’s biggest cemeteries, home to more than 150,000 burials.
Deansgrange Cemetery is, together with Glasnevin and Mount Jerome, one of the largest cemeteries in Dublin and is the burial place of many famous people, including Flann O'Brien, Count John McCormack, Frank O'Connor, Eamon Martin, Seán Lemass, Dermot Morgan, Delia Murphy, and the Nobel Laureate Ernest Walton .
She is buried at Deans Grange Cemetery, Dublin. She preferred to be known as Caitlín Bean Uí Chléirigh (Kathleen, Mrs Clarke) and had this inscription on her headstone. Her grand-niece, Helen Litton, edited her memoirs and her biography was published in 1991.
