Henry Paul (born August 25, 1949) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who was an original recording member of the Southern rock band Outlaws. Paul left to form the Henry Paul Band but then returned to the Outlaws. He also is a founding member of the country band Blackhawk.
Paul remains a unique combination of artist and entrepreneur, shaped by equal parts commitment, vision and talent. And while he’s not the first performer to integrate Celtic folk and country harmonies into rock (and vice-versa), few have done it as effectively and consistently across multiple genres and generations.
Blackhawk (stylized as BlackHawk) is an American country music group founded in 1992 by Henry Paul (lead vocals, mandolin, acoustic guitar), Van Stephenson (background vocals, electric guitar), and Dave Robbins (background vocals, keyboards).

27. Aug. 2020 · Henry Paul joined the Outlaws in 1971 when they were reborn from an earlier incarnation. The band had been formed by Hughie Thomasson and various others including drummer David Dix in Florida four years earlier with the name the Four Letter Words.
