Jim Taihuttu ( Venlo, 6 juli 1981) is een Nederlandse filmregisseur, filmproducent en scenarioschrijver. Onder zijn artiestennaam Jim Aasgier is hij actief als dj voor de formatie Yellow Claw. Daarnaast is hij mede-eigenaar van reclame- en filmbureau Habbekrats. [1] . Sinds 2016 is hij mede eigenaar van New Amsterdam Film Company. [2]

Twenty-year-old soldier Johan de Vries from Arcen is sent to Semarang, where the Dutch army says it is to liberate the Indonesian people from the authority of Sukarno.
