  4. The Lansing clients were Howard and Letha Sober. Sober (1895–1986) was a pioneer in the auto transport, or haul-away, business. Ten years after the house was built, Sober donated it to the State of Michigan to serve as the governor's mansion, and it functions as such today.

  5. Former home of Michigan governor Fred Warner (1905-1911). Filled with historic artifacts, memorabilia from 1850 through 1920. The mansion sits on approximately three acres surrounding gardens. Museum is open March to December, Wednesdays and the first Sunday of each month 1-5pm.
