Simcoe County is part of Central Ontario, Canada. It is north of the Greater Toronto Area, between Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay. It is part of the Golden Horseshoe area. The county covers 4,690.24 square kilometres (1,810.91 square miles). In 2011, it had a population of 277,614.
