Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (* 22. Mai 1859 in Edinburgh, Schottland; † 7. Juli 1930 in Crowborough, Sussex, England) war ein britischer Arzt und Schriftsteller. Er verfasste die Abenteuer von Sherlock Holmes und dessen Freund Dr. Watson.
The Conan Doyle Estate Ltd consists of eight people, all but one of whom are the beneficiaries of the will of Dame Jean Conan Doyle, the youngest child of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Most of the family are relations of Sir Arthur, by marriage or blood.

The Conan Doyle Family. Arthur Conan Doyle was the eldest of son of nine siblings, seven of whom survived into adulthood. His sisters became governesses before marrying well. One of his sisters, Connie, married a friend and fellow author, Ernest Hornung, who created the gentleman thief, Raffles.
