In addition to serving as coach for Penn men’s basketball, Daly coached for several NBA teams. Most notably, he led the Detroit Pistons to two consecutive championships in 1989 and 1990.

Juni 2021 · MIES (Switzerland) - Chuck Daly, who led the Detroit Pistons to back-to-back NBA titles and then famously coached the USA Dream Team to the gold medal at the Barcelona Olympics, is being inducted to the FIBA Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2021. Daly (USA) is being enshrined posthumously.
