Growing desperate, Darkseid summoned the Black Racer, the living death of the New Gods, to destroy his enemy. The Anti-Monitor fused it with the Justice League 's Flash and merged its power with the Anti-Life Equation to finally destroy Darkseid, ending his life once and for all.

With this heavy defeat on Earth, Darkseid had lost the Anti-Life Equation, millions of soldiers, and the three Mother Boxes, all in one fell swoop, all upon an anonymous, unnamed world among the countless of the Multiverse. A furious Darkseid, however, was undeterred and vowed to claim the Equation again.
Though people had presumed him dead, Darkseid was actually trapped within the frozen core of the destroyed Apokolips. Due to the New God Metron smashing Mister Miracle into it, it developed cracks, which allowed the crazed Darkseid to break free of his prison, something Izaya had felt far away at New Genesis.

19. März 2021 · At some point in the near future, Darkseid not only murders Aquaman and Wonder Woman, but he kills Lois Lane and uses the Anti-Life Equation on Superman. As Clark succumbs to it and becomes a slave for Apokolips, Earth is officially taken over by the New Gods and Darkseid wins at last.
