The Rubbish World of Dave Spud (shortened to Dave Spud) is a British children's animated series featuring the surreal adventures of the eponymous Dave Spud of Grimsby, his friends and tower block-dwelling family. It was created and directed by Edward Foster, inspired by his 2003 NFTS student short 'Anna Spud'.

Creator ed-foster. Dave Spud. The Rubbish World of Dave Spud series, aimed primarily at 5 - 11yr olds, is based on my original idea and was commissioned by CITV in the UK, the first series of 26 x 11 minutes hit our tellybox's Sept 2019.
Dave Spud is an animated series created and directed by Edward Foster. Dave Spud. Just an ordinary kid. An average boy. AN UNWITTING CREATOR OF CHAOS. Dave, Grimsby's own magnet for disaster, is a fighter against the odds and our unlikely hero. He knows that no matter how rubbish things get, there is always room for them to get worse.
