And we are sad to inform SoulTrackers of the death at age 66 of a key member of the P-world, Debbie Wright. Wright was a key background singer on many of the biggest albums of the era, as well as a founding member of the P-Funk related female vocal group Parlet.

Deborah Darlene Wright, 68, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1954, in Quantico and was a daughter of the late Glendon Orville Grandstaff and Rose Ella Gochenour Koutsounadis.
