Elle a été notamment juge de l'application des peines et présidente de cours d'assises au cours de sa carrière. Entre 2000 et 2002, elle conseille la garde des Sceaux Marylise Lebranchu.
He married Isabelle Romée, a landowner and sister of a church official, with whom he raised their five children (in birth order: Jacquemin, Jean, Catherine, Jeanne, and Pierre) in Domrémy. [5] D'Arc achieved some level of power and respect in Domrémy.
The conviction of Joan of Arc in 1431 was posthumously investigated on appeal in the 1450s by Inquisitor-General Jean Bréhal at the request of Joan's surviving family – her mother Isabelle Romée and two of her brothers, Jean and Pierre. The appeal was authorized by Pope Callixtus III .
Her parents were Jacques d'Arc and Isabelle Romée. Joan had three brothers and a sister. Her father was a peasant farmer with about 50 acres (20 ha) of land, and he supplemented the family income as a village official, collecting taxes and heading the local watch.
