The Flirtations were a pro- LGBT, male a cappella musical group active from 1988 to 1997. The original members were Jon Arterton, Michael Callen, Aurelio Font, TJ Myers, and Cliff Townsend. On the Out On the Road album they were joined by Jimmy Rutland.

The Flirtations, formerly known as The Gypsies, embarked on a journey that would solidify their place in musical history.
Members: Lestine Johnson Ernestine Pearce Shirley Pearce Betty Pearce. Consisting of sisters Betty, Ernestine and Shirley Pearce, along with Lesley Johnson,The Flirtations were formed in New York City in 1954. Singing after school and at parties while still in their teens they originally called themselves The Gypsies.
THE FLIRTATIONS have been recording and performing since the 60's. First known as THE GYPSIES before changing the groups name to THE FLIRTATIONS.
