Warren Bruce Cuccurullo (born December 8, 1956) is an American musician, songwriter, restaurant owner and former bodybuilder who first worked with Frank Zappa during the 1970s. He was also a founding member of Missing Persons in the 1980s.

Born and raised in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Warren started playing drums (age 9) and guitar at age 10. He formed bands and it quickly became the perfect way for him to try out his own ideas. He wrote his first song at age 14 and it was a favorite in his band’s set.

After the band broke up Cuccurullo had his greatest commercial success as guitarist for Duran Duran. Replacing original guitarist Andy Taylor in August 1986, he performed on the albums Notorious (1986) and Big Thing (1988), and was the sole guitarist on the global tours that followed.

10. Jan. 2020 · Cuccurullo’s inventive playing style helped put Missing Persons at the forefront of the ‘80s new wave movement and helped to define the genre’s sound. After Missing Persons disbanded in 1986, Cuccurullo went on to join Duran Duran as the replacement for guitarist Andy Taylor.
