3. Jan. 2024 · Earl King - Sexual Telepathy (1990, Black Top) Earl King was raised on gospel, but at 15 was playing blues modelled on Guitar Slim. His early records for Imperial are first class, but were sadly never made unavailable on CD in the UK. His time at Black Top Records is better served though.

New Orleans blues is a subgenre of blues that developed in and around the city of New Orleans, influenced by jazz and Caribbean music. It is dominated by piano and saxophone, but also produced guitar bluesmen.
