The sortable table below contains the three sets of ISO 3166-1 country codes for each of its 249 countries, links to the ISO 3166-2 country subdivision codes, and the Internet country code top-level domains (ccTLD) which are based on the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 standard with the few exceptions noted.
ISO 3166-2 is part of the ISO 3166 standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and defines codes for identifying the principal subdivisions (e.g., provinces or states) of all countries coded in ISO 3166-1.
ISO 3166 has three parts: codes for countries, codes for subdivisions and formerly used codes (codes that were once used to describe countries but are no longer in use).
Die Liste der ISO-3166-2-Codes für Deutschland enthält die Codes für die deutschen Länder. Die Codes bestehen aus zwei Teilen, die durch einen Bindestrich voneinander getrennt sind. Der erste Teil gibt den Landescode gemäß ISO 3166-1 (für Deutschland DE), der zweite den Code für den Gliedstaat (in Deutschland: Land) wieder.
ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes are two-letter country codes defined in ISO 3166-1, part of the ISO 3166 standard [1] published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), to represent countries, dependent territories, and special areas of geographical interest.
Spalten für die Top Level Domains (TLD), die Ländercodes des IOC ( Internationales Olympisches Komitee ), Codes für Staaten mit subnationalen Einheiten entsprechend der ISO 3166-2 sowie die UN/LOCODE (UN-Ortscodes). Die ehemaligen Staaten stehen nur noch informativ in dieser Tabelle.
ISO 3166-2 ist der zweite Teil des ISO-Standards ISO 3166. Er definiert mehr als 4000 Kennungen (Codes) für subnationale Verwaltungseinheiten und von Staaten abhängige Gebiete.
