    Original

The dancer is man named Rasputin, who has dark purple beard, and he visually resembles Grigori Rasputin. He is wearing a traditional Russian costume consisting of a dark purple Russian cap, a dark teal papacha with red and white accents and red scarf belt, violet baggy pants, and a pair of black-green boots. His glove is Crimson and has a light teal outline After Rasputin performs his Gold Move, an effect that overlaps frames of his silhouette is applied.

    Just Dance Now

On Just Dance Now, his face is less visible, and he is slightly realistic. the overlapping effect at the end is no longer visible, and Rasputin's glow is noticeably stronger and thicker.

    Just Dance Unlimited

In the remake, his appearance is kept mostly the same from the original, though he is slightly lighter and less blurry. His overlapping effect at the end also readd albeit semi-transparent.

    Original

The background is a winter landscape called Yceburg Frozen Lake. It has several evergreen trees and St. Basil’s Cathedral, one of the most iconic buildings in Moscow, Russia. Snow can be seen falling in the background and the frozen lake shows the reflection of the trees, Rasputin, and the Cathedral. In Just Dance: Greatest Hits and Just Dance: Best Of, the sky is in a lighter shade.

    Just Dance 3 (Xbox 360)

In this version, the background has been majorly revamped. Here, the tree is more detailed as well the Cathedral and is fully white, as if it was made of snow. The floor is replaced with a snowy surface, although the coach's reflection can still be seen on the floor.

Just Dance: Greatest Hits (Xbox 360)

The background is similar to Just Dance 3, except the frozen lake has been readded in place of what used to be a snowy surface. The stars now follow the beat as well as an occasional snowy burst on the ground. The trees have also received a slight animation.

There is 1 Gold Move in this routine:

Gold Move: Jump and open your arms in a straight position, and bend your legs.

    General

•Rasputin is the first song by Boney M. in the series. •The “overdub version” from Gold - 20 Super Hits is used in-game. This version has a shorter intro and added hand clap overdubs. •The song fades out right before the line "Ra-Ra-Rasputin/Russia’s greatest love machine/And so they shot him til’ he was dead". •Rasputin was referenced by Ubisoft in the ESRB label of Just Dance 2, in which the following lyric was cited: "drinkin’ and lusting,".

    Routine

•Throughout the series, Rasputin is depicted as the love interest of The Bride. The pair was first seen in Sugar and reappeared in Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.); however, their relationship came to an end in Sweet but Psycho. This marks the first time two coaches from different routines are canonized as a couple. •Their pairing was referenced again in Season 1: Lover Coaster, which features classic and epic avatars of both coaches. Additionally, the quote of Rasputin’s epic avatar is "Now when I need a little sugar, I’ve got my beautiful bride.", referencing their first appearance in Sugar. •After Sweet but Psycho, the routine I Am My Own Muse was made to show Rasputin’s point of view of the breakup. •In the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance: Greatest Hits, the ground has been changed to replace the snowy surface (as in Just Dance 3 on that console) with a frozen lake, in order to prevent the lyrics from blending into it. This makes Rasputin the only routine to receive graphical updates from Just Dance 3 to Just Dance: Greatest Hits. •Despite this, Just Dance: Greatest Hits uses the in-game preview from Just Dance 3. •Rasputin resembles and is named after Grigori Rasputin, a Russian historical figure whose life is told in the song. •The choreography is heavily inspired by the Kozachok, a traditional Ukrainian dance. •As seen in a promotional picture, Rasputin’s boots were initially green instead of black-green. Additionally, his papacha was greener, his glove is on his left hand, and the background has more snow. •These beta boots also seen in the updated album coach in Just Dance Unlimited. •One of the pictograms in the pre-remake version has a double-headed arrow. Unlike other songs from Just Dance 2 that were returned to Just Dance 3, Just Dance: Greatest Hits/Best Of, Just Dance Now, Just Dance Unlimited, or Just Dance+, this was not changed or replaced by a different pictogram. •However, as of October 17, 2019, all the pictograms were completely remade. •The album coach was also updated to show Rasputin’s full body. •In the Just Dance 2 menu icon, Rasputin’s face, cap and beard have a red outline, his papacha is darker, and his glove is on the wrong hand. •In Just Dance 2, the props on some pictograms are yellow instead of red. •This was fixed starting from the Wii version of Just Dance 3. •On the Just Dance 2 instruction manual, Rasputin appears in the section about downloading DLC. •However, The Black Eyed Peas are erroneously credited as the artists, and the Duet icon appears on the top left corner despite the map being a Solo. •The background reappears in Spice Up Your Life. •Besides Sugar (as P1) and I Am My Own Muse, Rasputin also returns as a playable coach in Hungarian Dance No. 5 (as P2) and Y.M.C.A. (as P1). •Besides Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) and Sweet but Psycho, he also has unplayable cameos in Just Dance (on a stained window) and •A picture of the routine appears in the background of the Tutorial mode from Just Dance Wii 2. •On the Just Dance 2015 version of Rasputin’s avatar, his mouth is comparatively closer to his mustache. •The remade version of Rasputin presents slight differences between Just Dance Now and Just Dance Unlimited: in the former game, he is in the same size as his original version and his glowing outline fades towards his feet; in the latter, he is slightly smaller, and his glow is thinner and does not fade. •In addition, his color scheme and his textures are all retained from the original version in Just Dance Unlimited (as opposed to Just Dance Now, where he has been given several changes). •However, in All Stars Mode, Rasputin appears on his planet in his Just Dance Now form, even though the video file is from Just Dance Unlimited’s servers. •As of October 17, 2019, the pictograms and the album coach have been updated in Just Dance Unlimited. •Rasputin makes a brief appearance in the video "Ubisoft Paris - 30 years of games". •However, the Just Dance Unlimited version of the map is mistakenly used to represent Just Dance 2.
