    EUW servers are located in Amsterdam, EUNE servers are located in Frankfurt (EUW used to be in Frankfurt as well). From my experience there are more English speaking players in EUW if that matters to you, and I'd say the level of skill in EUW is higher.

    tl;dr its a simple math thing, euw has a MILLION more players, so the competition is twice as intense, and at higher ranks it gets even more intense because euw has pro players that play for money while in eune there is no real incentive to tryhard.
