Edward Bradford Titchener ( Chichester, 11 januari 1867 - Ithaca, 3 augustus 1927) was een Brits psycholoog. Hij was een bekende student van de psycholoog Wilhelm Wundt, maar zelf voorstander van het structuralisme en gebruikte die term dan ook voor het eerst.
Psychologist Edward B. Titchener reported in 1898 that some students in his junior classes believed that they could "feel" when they were being stared at from behind, and a smaller proportion believed that by staring at the back of a person's neck they could force them to turn around.
