Hemiunu (fl. 2570 BC) was an ancient Egyptian prince who is believed to have been the architect of the Great Pyramid of Giza. As vizier, succeeding his father, Nefermaat, and his uncle, Kanefer, Hemiunu was one of the most important members of the court and responsible for all the royal works. His tomb lies close to Khufu's pyramid.

Hemiunu, der Baumeister. Baumeister der Cheops-Pyramide war wahrscheinlich Hemiunu. Er war ein Sohn des Bauleiters Nefermaat, der unter Snofru den Bau der Meidum-Pyramide leitete. Da Nefermaat ein Bruder des Cheops war, gehörte Hemiunu als Neffe zum erweiterten Familienkreis des Cheops.

As a member of the royal family he reached many high offices. The list of his achievements is recorded on his statue, currently located in Hildesheim, Germany.
