Neasa Hardiman is an Irish director of both fiction and nonfiction, predominantly known for her television work. Hardiman began her career producing a number of shows for the RTÉ network in Ireland and has since worked on both British and American productions.
Her strong cinematic sensibility quickly led her to international prominence as a sought-after leader producing emotionally powerful and visually stunning work, reaching audiences across the world. Neasa was awarded an IFTA in 2016 and a BAFTA in 2010 and in 2017, amongst other prizes.

One of the performances that took place in Tacheles was by an Irish student, Neasa Hardiman. After attending NCAD, she had won a scholarship to the Universität der Künste to study under the sculptor Rebecca Horn, whose body extension pieces are considered fundamental to the feminist art movement.
BAFTA-winning director and writer Neasa Hardiman began her career with a Double First at the National College of Art and Design Ireland. Her visionary work won her a postgraduate scholarship in creative film at Berlin's Universität der Künste.
