Owen D. Young (* 27. Oktober 1874 in Stark, Herkimer County, New York; † 11. Juli 1962) war ein US-amerikanischer Industrieller, Geschäftsmann, Anwalt und Diplomat der zweiten Haager Konferenz (SRC, Second Reparations Conference) als Mitglied des Internationalen Deutschen Entschädigungskomitees.
Owen D. Young (October 27, 1874 – July 11, 1962) was an American industrialist, businessman, lawyer and diplomat at the Second Reparations Conference (SRC) in 1929, as a member of the German Reparations International Commission.
Er wurde von einem Gremium internationaler Finanzexperten unter Vorsitz des amerikanischen Industriellen und Diplomaten Owen D. Young, der dem Plan den Namen gab, vom Februar bis Juni 1929 in Paris ausgehandelt.
Developed to replace the 1924 Dawes Plan, the Young Plan was negotiated in Paris from February to June 1929 by a committee of international financial experts under the leadership of American businessman and economist Owen D. Young.
Owen D. Young was not only at the center of the technological and material innovations of his time, but also of its progressivism and efforts to devise private sector alternatives for the liberal state, the interventionist diplomatic establishment, and the activist community government.

Benannt nach dem Wirtschaftsberater Owen Young (1874-1962), löste der Young-Plan den Dawes-Plan von 1924 ab und regelte die deutschen Reparationszahlungen neu. Er trat im März 1930 rückwirkend zum 1. September 1929 in Kraft und wurde bereits im Juli 1932 wieder aufgehoben.
