  3. Tourmakeady College ( Irish: Coláiste Mhuire Tuar Mhic Éadaigh) is an Irish-speaking voluntary secondary school in Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland. The school has approximately 200 students. [citation needed] The school was at the centre of the Gaelic literary revival.

  6. Colaiste Muire in Tourmakeady is a small and friendly school which operates on the basis of the principle “treat others as we would like to be treated”. Students are encouraged to get involved in arts and sports alongside their academic development.

  7. Coláiste Mhuire was an all Irish school specially provided to teach Irish to would-be National Teachers. It is still today an all-Irish school and now caters for boys and girls in the surrounding area. It provides the children with a very high standard of education.
