  2. If you are curious about the nuances of human behavior or have a passion for connecting with others, consider exploring all the psychology department has to offer. We prioritize research and thoughtful classroom experiences to advance your understanding of human behavior, thoughts, and emotions.

  3. For a student to major in psychology, at least half the courses in the major, including the advanced experimental research course, must be taken at Queens College. Courses required for the major are offered every semester. Elective courses are offered either every semester or at least once a year.

  4. The mission of the Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology at Queens College is to prepare students to be highly qualified clinical psychologists with evidence-based acumen and cultural humility, ready for successful careers in academic clinical research, clinical practice, and/or academia.

  5. Your major must include a minimum of 36 credits in Psychology courses, at least half of which must be taken at Queens College. Minimum grades Psychology majors need a minimum grade of C in Psych 101, 107.3 &107.1, 213W, and 311-321 (the Advanced Experimental courses), even if the courses were transferred to QC.

  6. The Associate's Degree program in Psychology is a 60 credit program offered by the Department of Social Sciences that consists of courses specifically in the psychology major and provides students with a strong general education foundation.
