As a full boarding school, with only a few places for day pupils who live nearby, we offer a wealth of co-curricular opportunities, meaning that life at St Mary’s is vibrant, exciting and always good fun.
Curriculum. St Mary's has enjoyed success in both GCSE and A Levels examinations. It was listed in The Independent's top 100 schools for 2012 based on the most recent A Levels results.
20. Sept. 2021 · St Mary’s is proud to be an extremely academic school. With small class sizes, and less than 400 students on campus in total, the school can offer its students that higher level of personal attention and guidance. In Years 7-8, they study a broad curriculum delivered by a team of specialist teachers.
Academically selective and highly sought after, St Mary’s Ascot is awash with accolades that sing of its excellence. Originally a convent run by the Sisters of Loretto, IBVM, the school remains one of the foremost Roman Catholic Girls’ schools in the country.
We are also big enough to be able to offer a full and ambitious academic curriculum, and outstanding facilities, from our 400-seat theatre auditorium and all-weather athletics track to our beautiful new Sixth Form boarding courtyard with its ensuite study bedrooms.
