Third St., and the historic former schoolhouse is now home to St. Mary’s middle school. The idea for a health clinic came from Father Nguyen in 2019 when he saw the struggles taking place on the south side of the city that included human trafficking.
13. Okt. 2019 · The first parish building, located to the west of this site, was built in 1865 and served as the church, rectory, and schoolhouse. Joliet Franciscan nuns began teaching at the school in 1875, and a convent was built on the southern portion of this site, near the present gardens.
