The College of William & Mary in Virginia (abbreviated as W&M), is a public research university in Williamsburg, Virginia. Founded in 1693 under a royal charter issued by King William III and Queen Mary II, it is the second-oldest institution of higher education in the United States and the ninth-oldest in the English-speaking world.
William & Mary's ranking in the 2024 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, #53. Its in-state tuition and fees are $25,041; out-of-state tuition and fees are $48,841.

Das College of William & Mary (auch William & Mary oder W&M genannt) ist eine staatliche Universität in Williamsburg im Osten des US-Bundesstaates Virginia. Gegründet 1693, ist sie nach der Harvard University die zweitälteste Universität der Vereinigten Staaten. Im Jahre 2019 waren hier 8800 Studenten eingeschrieben.
Instructing about 8,000 students, the university has more than 40 undergraduate courses, and about 20 graduate programmes across four graduate schools – business, education, law and marine science. Three US presidents studied at William & Mary, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe and John Tyler.
