DAVID TABATSKY was born in Pennsylvania and spent his formative years in New England. He attended Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, completing his Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, with studies in film, television and radio—as well as theatre and dance.

12. Feb. 2023 · I’m pleased to share my interview with David Tabatsky about his YA book, THE BOY BEHIND THE DOOR: HOW SALOMON KOOL ESCAPED THE NAZIS ( Amsterdam Publishers, 2022). It tells the story of a teen named Salomon Kool, who survives against all odds.
Write for Life aims to provide people affected by cancer. (patients, caregivers, family, friends, medical community, etc.) the opportunity to explore personal expression through writing, with the hope that it becomes a substantial and meaningful tool in the fight against cancer.
