the entire rest of EVE Online feels they can, without boundaries, restraint, or evidence, fling all kinds of shit at the leader of GSF. This is the biggest hock of bullshit that I've seen in a long time. Yes, leaders of space guilds get more publicity for this, that, or the other. Some of that is in-game shitflinging.

The people who want to "burn it all down" (nuke goonswarm) aren't helping, and expecting more of their leaders to resolve conflicts was an "unfair" expectation. Serious criminal offenses referred to as "mistakes". Wholesale blanket unspecific apologies at a camera are sufficient to right certain wrongs.
I am cautiously optimistic that The Mittani will appear again in Eve Online. Will he be in Goonswarm? I am not sure. Though I am certain that if anything were to happen internally with Goons, he'll come back to assist it. Though this would be a good opportunity for him to branch out elsewhere with his freedoms.
