The Cité internationale universitaire de Paris is a campus unlike any other in the world. Every year it welcomes 12,000 students, researchers and artists of 150 different nationalities into its 43 houses. It doesn’t offer education but an original model of collective life.

Throughout your stay, you must be registered for a masters or doctorate degree (upwards of Bac+4 or equivalent) in a French public or private higher education institution, preferably in Île-de-France. Throughout your stay, you must hold a doctorate degree and have a post-doctoral project or be a teacher-researcher. Your research project must be accepted by a higher education or research establishment or a university. You can also be invited by a higher education or research establishment in Île-de-France.

In addition, people who do not fulfil the criteria of student, researchers or artist, but can justify an academic or cultural link to a building can be lodged from time to time. The stay cannot exceed 1 month.
Cité internationale universitaire de Paris ( CiuP, Cité U) is a private park and foundation located in Paris, France. Since 1925, it has provided general and public services, including the maintenance of several dozen residences housing around 6,000 students and visiting academics in the Île-de-France region.

Every year, we host 12,000 international students and researchers of 150 different nationalities. The park is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.!
