7. Nov. 2019 · Council soon became more civilized, and the town officially incorporated January 20, 1903. By about 1905 the town had a population of about 1,000. The area continued to boom throughout the first decade of the twentieth century. Cattle, sheep, farming and mining formed the core of the economy.
