Mai 2021 · The original spindles would be 7/8" or 22mm as you say, don't look for spindles just get some 25mm X 25mm finished sticks, these will come in at around 21 - 22mm dependant on which timber yard you use. you can buy it in lengths, 2.4M or 3M lengths will be ideal giving you 3 spindles per stick, the nosing should have the spindles chopped out ...

Dez. 2020 · I thought there was cutting and measuring that had to be done meaning perhaps a carpenter or a joiner would be needed to get the best job done especially as you've just pointed out you had a terrible experience with window fitters. Other people have mentioned the same problem even with builders fitting them.
26. Aug. 2024 · Bobby86 Member. Ive nearly completed the framing for a media wall im building. There are three compartments I am putting in which are 19 x 33 x 88 (h/d/l) After advice from a previous post I have decided to make preformed boxes to go in there as plastering them would not be practical. My question is should I use MDF or plywood.
1. Mai 2024 · One of the large full-width drawers has dropped down a bit and I can't open the drawer beneath that drawer without manually holding up the broken one. The brown painted metal wheeled runner is slightly distorted and I want to buy the necessary replacements. Photos attached. 400 mm overall length. 1.4 cm - Width of top surface of runner.

SF sell Toupret Acrylic Putty, not used it myself but the data sheet suggests over painting within 8-10 days - so not that quick but quicker than linseed oil based putty. £15 per kg tin - one would hope its special for that price.
