Für die Regieausbildung und als Spielstätte nutzt die Hochschule das Berliner Arbeiter-Theater. Jährlich werden etwa 15 Produktionen aufgeführt. Ungefähr 90 Studenten werden an der Schauspielschule Ernst Busch in Schauspiel, Puppenspiel, Regie, Dramaturgie und Tanz ( Bühnentanz und Choreografie) unterrichtet.
Die Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch bildet in sechs Fachrichtungen aus: Schauspiel, Regie, Dramaturgie, Zeitgenössische Puppenspielkunst, Spiel und Objekt sowie Choreographie.
