North Hollywood High School, along with the Los Angeles Unified School District, has developed a Parent and Family Engagement Policy and North Hollywood has come up with a School-Parent Compact for the 2023-24 school year. Paper copies will be available in the Main office. One of the greatest aspects of high school life is being part of a club.
Students who live in North Hollywood High School boundaries from outside the LAUSD, should bring a transcript from their last school so we can properly enroll them in classes and give them credit for previous high school classes they have completed. Transcripts may be furnished after the student is enrolled if necessary.
The group begins rehearsing two weeks before the first day of school at our “Band Camp.”. Students learn music, marching, and teamwork for two weeks to establish a positive and supportive group environment. Camp is mandatory for anyone wanting to join the team and is always sometime during the last two weeks M-F of summer break (LAUSD).
