Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai Jain (12 August 1919 – 30 December 1971) was an Indian physicist and astronomer who initiated space research and helped to develop nuclear power in India. He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 1966 and the Padma Vibhushan (posthumously) in 1972.
Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai (* 12. August 1919 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat; † 30. Dezember 1971 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala) war ein indischer Physiker. Er gilt als Vater des indischen Raumfahrt programms und trug entscheidend zur Entwicklung der Raketen- und Satellitentechnologie seines Landes bei.
Vikram Sarabhai served of PRL from 1966-1971. He was also Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission. He along with other Ahmedabad-based industrialists played a major role in the creation of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
