  6. English traditional jazz band, formed in 1956 to play dance music of the 1920s, disbanded in 1968, but in the early 1970s some of the players formed The New Temperence Seven. The name was later used for various bands by Bobby Mickleburgh. "Josef Kronk", who supposedly arranged The Temperance Seven 1961 LP, was the collective pseudonym for the band.
