Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real have been the backing band for Canadian musician Neil Young and recorded four albums and a film soundtrack with Young. The band toured extensively, headlining concerts, opening for other acts and appearing at a variety of music festivals including Stagecoach Festival , Glastonbury Festival , Byron Bay Blues Fest , Lollapalooza , and Farm Aid .

Apr. 2023 · In preparation for his highly anticipated new album, Sticks and Stones , Lukas Nelson has unveiled the official music video for the first single, “More Than Friends,” featuring Lainey Wilson. Nicki Fletcher and Mason Allen of Tacklebox Films produced and directed the collaborative video, which debuted on CMT.
