Hertz is a scam! Hertz owes me $743.63. I rented a car for two weeks because I didn't know how long my dad was going to live. I pick up the car on March 28th and return it on April 6th. Not only was I charged an additional $318.64 for insurance I didn't want or need as American Express offers car rental insurance.

If you are a Hertz Gold member, you can go directly to that counter. 21. Mai 2022 · Been checking car rental for 13 days in canada for about a week now, and i haven't found anything for less than like $2,000-$2,500. After much searching, found a random aggregator site for car rentals and found a full-size car from hertz for about $909 and booked it. The site was kind of sketchy looking, but a lot of them are.
18. Feb. 2023 · If so, it shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re not, I would return it when you said you would, otherwise you could get charged for an additional day. Also, if anything happens (car accident, stolen car, etc) it puts you in a bit more of a grey area. Well, it’s Hertz, so you’ll probably be imprisoned for alleged car theft.
27. Aug. 2020 · Hertz not only sells rental cars which are worth less due to the history which is why Carfax reports this. They also go out to auctions and purchase many cars for resale purposes. So they are not just clearing old inventory they are also buying new cars that they are selling for Profit.
