Groß, lang und breit. Der Airbus A380 kann bis zu 615 Passagiere und 1.000 Koffer transportieren. Seine Länge beträgt 72,7 Meter. Er ist 24,1 Meter hoch. Damit ist der Airbus A380 so hoch wie sechs übereinander stehende Elefanten oder ein achtstöckiges Wohnhaus. Seine Flügelspannweite beträgt ganze 79,8 Meter.
Produktionsende Airbus A380. Nachdem sein größter Kunde, Emirates, zugestimmt hatte, einen Auftrag über 39 A380 zu stornieren und durch 40 A330-900 und 30 A350-900 zu ersetzen, erklärte Airbus im Februar 2019, dass es die Produktion der A380 bis 2021 einstellen werde.
