Celebrated as one of the most influential bands from the 1960s British Invasion era alongside the likes of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the Hollies have had over 20 worldwide hits, including number one singles in both the US and UK.

21. Jan. 2021 · Bassist Stiles ist seit 1986 festes Mitglied bei den Hollies und spielt nebenbei bis heute zusammen mit seiner Frau Anne und HolliesKollege Steve Lauri in der Band Taboo. Aber auch mit Mud-Buddy Rob Davis tritt er noch gelegentlich in TV-Shows und bei Konzerten auf – nach einigen Shows 2015 auch zwei Jahre später im legendären Half Moon Pub in London.
Die aktuell ältesten aktiven Mitglieder der Band sind seit 1963 dabei: Tony Hicks als Sänger und an der Gitarre und Bobby Elliott am Schlagzeug. Neueste Mitglieder seit 2004 sind Peter Howarth sowie Steve Lauri als Sänger und an der Gitarre. Im Jahr 2010 wurden The Hollies offiziell in die „Rock and Roll Hall of Fame“ aufgenommen.
